My Experience with the Lectureship (Truth ;))

Its a great journey as lecturer (Asst. Prof.). I never thought about this profession but may be its my destiny to be in this area. I was always try to run away to be a lecturer when i was in BE but now i think i will be more happier in this field. I found many interesting things in this life and i will discuss it in episodes so wait for my next blog.... ;)

Anna Hazare and his fight against corruption

when anna has started his fight against corruption i found that its really a necessary step for better future for india but now it looks like that they are trying to form a parallel government. now a days anna is using cheap media publicity like reality shows on TV and so on. this is not the way a leader should use to fight against government. he says that he follows the gandhi way then why he dont stop the people who started violation when he had arrested? what i feel about this lokpal is that its just another source of corruption. if we really wants to remove corruption from our country we not need any leader or any other rules we just make sure that our existing system and rules works well in order. see if police and other departments whose duty is to maintain rules and regulation in country works without any obstacle and they try their best to maintain this environment then its possible to remove corruption. but the main factor which can work well against this corruption system is we, the people, common men, if we try not to give anyone any kind of bribe in any manner then only its possible that the person who is corrupted get on right track. for example in movie "lage raho munnabhai" that old man tries to expose the corrupted officer and humiliate him if we try something like that when any govt employee ask for bribe then only we can remove this corruption. otherwise this annagiri is useless against corruption!!!!

IPL 4

After a long time i am trying write something in my blog because i am very much happy of yesterday's result in ICC CWC 2011.
India won the cricket world cup 2nd time and whole country is celebrating it in their own style.

So, now its time for IPL4 as all team has changed because of new auction and two new franchises added it became a more interesting to analyze and rank all the teams so i have done it from my side. some people may have problems with that as they think some other team as their favorite but i done all this analysis based on key players in the team specially Indian players because there are only four players allowed in the squad of 11 so Indian players are very important in IPL. I am giving rank to all the teams with their key players and a brief review of my own if required.

Lets start us from the bottom

10. RR -> Warne, Botha, Collingwood, Tait, Ross Tylor, Watson, Dravid -> this team has a big name from international cricket but as the previous seasons they dont have big names from indian cricket which may hurt them a lot.

9. CSK-> Bravo, M. Hussy, Kulasekara, A. Morkel, Styris, Dhoni, Raina -> same problem as of RR.

8. MI -> Franklin, Henriques, Malinga, Pollard, Symonds, Sachin, Harbhajan, Munaf, Rohit -> this looks like a balanced team but still i didn't see a chances of MI to get going in IPL 4 as other teams have some young guns who can fire and take away game from them.

7. DC -> Sangakara, Duminy, KP, Steyn, White, Dhawan, Mishra, Ojha -> same as MI but they looks like a better bowling side with steyn and two indian spinners.

6. RCB -> Vettori, AB, Dilsan, Nannes, Pomersbach, Kaif, Zaheer, Kohli, Pujara, Tiwary -> more balanced side then DC but still batting is not good enough.

5. KXIP -> Gilly, Harris, D. Hussy, Marsh, Broad, Mascarenhas, Chawla, D. Kartik, P. Kumar, Nayar -> looks like a better batting side and may go a long way

4. Kochi -> Jaywardena, Hodge, B. McCullam, Murlidharan, O. Shah, Jadeja, Laxman, Parthiv, RP, Sreesanth -> this is a totally balanced side and we can see that they have quality of batsman, wicket keeper, fast bowler, as well as spin bowler.

3. Pune -> Mathews, Ryder, G. Smith, J. Tylor, Yuvi, Nehra, Pandey, Uthappa -> their bowling looks weak but after watching the bowling performance of yuvi in WC 2011 we can say that this team may win the IPL4.

2. DD -> Hopes, M. Morkel, Merwe, Warner, Sehwag, Irfan, Rao -> this team has two great all-rounders and two power house batsmans. so they can change the game.

1. KKR -> Haddin, Kallis, Lee, Shakib, Gambhir, Balaji, Yusuf -> after a disaster performance in previous seasons of IPL KKR is first time looks like a powerful team and a big contender to win this IPL as they have a powerful heater of the ball haddin and yusuf, then they have a long inning players like, kallis and gambhir, they have experienced fast bowlers lee and balaji, have a great all rounders like shakib, kallis and yusuf.

I know many of you have many problems from my ranking but this is what i feel after analyzing teams on paper result may differ from the original standing in the tournament.
Lets see what happens.

IPL 2

IPL 2 started with a bang.

This times ranking as per my opinion is:
1. Kings XI Punjab (KXI)
2. Delhi DareDevils (DD)
3. Deccan Chargers (DC)
4. Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB)
5. Chennai Supar Kings (CSK)
6. Mumbai Indians (MI)
7. Rajsthan Royals (RR)
8. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Now description,
1. KXI: this team is as powerful as previous IPL but has some problem with CSK in IPL1 so that they lost all 3 matches against CSK from total 5 they lost in it. but this time they will bang with a stormy batting lineup though they have a little problem with bowling but tylore, Irfan and Piyush will cover it. ravi bopara will give some advantage to them. they lost the first match against DD in IPL2 but they rock in the batting as we have seen that they have hit the most no of sixes in an innings in just 12 overs as they have some good striker of the ball Yuvraj, Sangakara, jaywardene, Karan Goal, Ravi Bopara, Irfan Pathan, Piyush Chavla, we will see some good bangs and score by this team.

2. DD: this team has power with Hard hitting opening pair of Sehwag and Gambhir but sehwag is not much more trusted player for long innings but he can show some fireworks as he is on ground they have also get dilshan, owaish shah and collingwood who can bat well. they have good bowling power as well with mcgrath and vettori two world class bowler with them they also get salvi and nehra but it is difficult to choose from foreign players the 4 best in playing 11.

3. DC: Good team on paper became now good team on ground as we can find in yesterday's match that they just crush KKR first by bowling department and then batting department. they have a powerful batting lineup with gilcrist, gibbs, laxman, rohit sharma, styris, venugopal, Raviteja. this time they got jackpot of edwards which they really wants we can see it in last match they have also good bowling attack with RP, Ojha, styris, and vaas.

4. RCB: team with new captain and players became now oneday team from test team. they have halthy batting lineup with KP, Dravid, ryder, ross tylor, kalis uthapa, boucher, and also a good bowling line up with kumble, styne, kalis, pravin kumar, ryder, etc. so they are also became now real royal challenger and they prove it by beating the defending champions with a big margin.

This is a snap from the article published in "The Times of India-Ahmedabad" on April 10,2009 which is about a business man from Surendranagar who show his wealth as Rs. 514 Cr and became the politician with highest wealth in the history of Indian Politics. Details of that article is as follows:

He (Mr. Khimji Patadia) is perhaps the wealthiest candidate in the fray for the Lok Sabha polls. Khimji Patadia, a mumbai-based businessman, took every one by surprise when he filled his nomination from Surendranagar. Patadia, 53, has declared assets worth Rs. 514 crore, mainly in jewellery and real estate.
He surpasses the riches of candidates like Congress's L Rajgopal from Vijayawada(Rs. 299 crore), BSP's Karan Singh Tanwar from South Delhi(Rs. 150 crore) and SP's Abu Azmi from Mumbai NW(Rs. 122 crore).
Founder of barely-known Krantikari Jaihind Sena, Patadia, a college drop-put who hails from sanosara village in Surendranagar. made his riches after moving to mumbai in late 70s.
A resident of Kandiwali, Patadia is a promoter in Swastik group of companies, which has interests in construction and jewellery business. As per the affidavit, he has declared movable property worth Rs. 255 crore and immovable property to the tune of 259 crore.
Apart from bank deposit, debentures and bonds, Patadia owns 1.5 kg gold and diamond jewellery worth Rs. 250 crore. Beside, he owns oil paintings worth Rs 3 crore.
Patadia's land holding is mainly in and around Mumbai and Thane, He also owns 40 acres of land in Gujarat, besides a flat in Kandiwali.
"Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is my idol. My party is against politics of caste, religion, language because it is destroying our nation." says Patadia, whose party plans to field 30 candidates in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.
"Our agenda is education to all and free electricity to farmers, besides free housing to poor and food grains at Rs. 4 per kg." he said
